# dtangle > dtangle tracks every app and site on your Mac, groups it into the work it was for with AI and shows where your focus broke and what it took to get back. dtangle is a Mac menu bar app with a web dashboard. It records which apps and websites you use without timers or tagging, notices when you step away and leaves that time out, then uses AI to group the day into the pieces of work it was for. Each morning it explains the day before: where attention broke, what it took to return and what to protect today. Over time it shows weekday patterns and rewards clean days against a distraction line you set yourself. It is built for the person using it, with no manager dashboard. Any day can be deleted. ## Facts - Platform: macOS. The tools meant to show it count apps instead of work. Why that fails and what we built instead. ## Optional - [Privacy policy](https://www.dtangle.ai/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://www.dtangle.ai/terms)
